Jessica Bennett

Veterinary Technician

Jessica was born and raised near the east side of Houston. She moved to Dripping Springs in 2015, married her wonderful husband in 2018, and had their son in 2020. Jessica developed a passion for animals at a young age and has been a Veterinary Technician for over 6 years. She cherishes the moments when a patient starts to feel better after being ill, and knowing she did what she could to help them. Jessica has two dogs, Max and Daisy, and in her spare time she enjoys fishing, hiking, and spending time with her son.


Juniper Buchanan

Kennel Technician

Born and raised in central Illinois, Juniper has been passionate about working with animals since they were very young. They trained their childhood dog to be a therapy dog for the elderly and their first dog to be a service dog, who accompanied them during graduation and moving to Austin soon after. Over the years, Juniper gained experience as a kennel tech, dog grooming assistant, pet sitter, and dog behavior trainer. Juniper loves to connect with all the animals but especially the shy ones who build their confidence coming out of their little shell! Their favorite pastime activities are photography, hiking with their dogs, and visiting local markets with their fiancée! They are so excited to meet you and your furry family!

Jessica Collins-Matcek, CVPM

Practice Manager

Born in Santa Rosa, California, Jessica and her family moved to Texas when she was three. Animals have always been her first love. Growing up she and her sister often brought home strays of all kinds - dogs and cats, lambs, goats, whatever needed a home. She had pet hedgehogs and even rescued a litter of baby opossums once! Jessica completed her bachelor’s degree at Texas State University and completed her Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) certification through Veterinary Hospital Managers Association (VHMA). Jessica's favorite activities in her free time are travel, spin biking and hiking, trying out new restaurants, and spending time with her husband and their dogs Henry and Helga.


Dr. Samantha Eifert, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Sam Eifert is a double Gator graduate from the University of Florida. Her background is mostly in large animal medicine, but she loves dogs, cats, and reptiles of all kind! She has 2 cats, Gator and Albee, and a tortoise named Little Dude. In her spare time, Sam likes cooking, watching sports, and hanging out with her friends and family. She is excited to be part of the Wildflower Family!


Lilly Eliaz

Veterinary Technician

Lilly Eliaz was born and raised in the Austin area. Her love for all animals big and small was established at a very young age as she was surrounded by dogs and horses. In high school she took in a crippled lamb, Byrd, and rehabilitated her until she could walk again. Byrd is now going on 5 years old and loves nothing more than to frolic and headbutt. Along with Byrd, Lilly also has another sheep, Juniper, a guinea pig named Percy, and her pride and joy rescue pup Fletcher. She is currently attending Texas State University for a degree in Biochemistry and in her spare time she enjoys reading, buying plants, and taking her dog to the river.


Emily Mananghaya

Veterinary Technician

Emily was born and raised in a small town in East Texas for the majority of her life. She moved to Dallas in 2007 where she went to high school and then later went to college for some time. Emily met her husband, Jose, at Texas Woman's University and then years later married him in October 2020 in the midst of Covid. They then moved to Dripping Springs in July 2022 and welcomed their daughter in April 2023. Emily has always had a love for animals since a very young age (from farm to pocket pets to dogs and cats) and has been a Veterinary Technician for three years but has worked in various roles in the veterinary industry since 2018, working primarily with cats and dogs. Emily has two senior dogs, Bear and Koda. In her spare time she enjoys singing, playing video games, chatting online with friends, and spending time with her husband and daughter. She's excited to join the team at Wildflower Animal Hospital and to care for your fur babies!


Olivia Marklein

Veterinary Technician

Olivia was born in Michigan and moved to Texas in 2012. She has always been passionate about animals, and growing up she always had some kind of animal in the house. Whether it was a dog, cat, rabbit, duck, goat, fish, or hamster, her family would take it in and give it the attention and love it needed. She loves being able to continue to help animals here at Wildflower. In her free time she enjoys reading, playing video games with her boyfriend, and spending time with her cat, Petunia.

Dr. Tate O’Gan, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. O’Gan was born and raised in Buffalo, Wyoming. He moved to Texas in 2003 and has been a resident ever since. After graduating from vet school at Ross University, Dr. O’Gan spent six years practicing small animal medicine in San Antonio. He then spent a year working as a relief vet for numerous clinics around the Hill Country, where he obtained multiple perspectives on patient treatment and care. Dr. O’Gan lives in Wimberley with his wife, Lindsay, an instructional design manager at Austin Pets Alive, and his two children, Grady and Hazel. He has two mixed breed rescue dogs, Obi and Stella, and four rescue cats, Wallace, Blackberry, Pirate Captain, and Teddy. In his spare time, he enjoys watching football, reading, working on home improvement projects, and entertaining his children.


Hannah Summer

Kennel Technician

Hannah was born in North Carolina and moved to Austin in 2016. She has always had a passion for animals and the outdoors. Since moving to Austin, Hannah has loved getting to work with small, large, and exotic animals over the years. Her favorite was an escaped Sulcata tortoise when she was an animal control officer! She is currently working on finishing her certification in Applied Canine Ethology and is very excited to be part of the team. Hannah has a cat, Alina, a dog, Flick, and a ball python, Lilith. In her free time she likes to go backpacking with her boyfriend and her dog, to paint miniatures, and to play video games.


Dr. Brynn Taylor, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Taylor is from Cave Creek, Arizona, where she grew up with horses, goats, and a pack of dogs and cats. This sparked her love for animals and she attended school at Kansas State University before going to veterinary school at Western University. While in school, she worked as a small animal technician at a hybrid ER veterinary clinic, which influenced her love for small animal medicine. Dr. Taylor also works at an equine hospital, and when she’s not saving lives she can be found doing anything outdoors, rock climbing, or trying new restaurants around town. She is excited to get to know you and your pets!


Michaela Wiley

Receptionist

Michaela was born and raised in Austin, TX. She grew up raising lambs and goats in the FFA, where she developed her passion for animal care. In 2017, she graduated from West Texas A&M University with a Bachelors in Animal Science and Associates in Agricultural Business Management. She has worked in various roles in the veterinary industry since 2019. In her free time, Michaela enjoys horseback riding with her horse, Poco, or doing anything outdoors with her Blue Heeler, Raine.


Dovie Williamson

Receptionist

Dovie was born and raised in Bryan, Texas, but moved to her true home, Austin, as soon as she could in 1997. She has worked in both human and small animal medicine and is excited to be a part of the team. She and her boyfriend, Billy, recently bought their first home together and enjoy spending their time on the hunt for vintage treasures to fill their new space. Dovie enjoys bad reality TV and anything creepy.
